主要研究方向:分子流行病学和传染病流行病学,围绕重要病原体毒力和耐药传播和进化规律、重症手足口病治病机制和早期预警、幽门螺杆菌基因工程疫苗和致病机制等内容开展科学研究。主持和参与河南省高等学校重点科研项目2项,河南省科技攻关计划项目1项,国家自然科学基金3项,国家科技重大专项2项。在CELL MOL IMMUNOLJ INFECT DISFRONT MICROBIOLINT J ANTIMICROB AG等期刊发表论文102篇,申请专利3项。学术兼职:中华医学会公共卫生分会秘书,中华预防医学会流行病学分会青年委员,河南省医学会公共卫生分会秘书、免疫与预防学组秘书,河南省医学会临床流行病与循证医学分会青年副主委、《中华疾病控制杂志》青年编委。指导学生参加第二届全国大学生公共卫生综合知识与技能大赛三等奖、第一届河南省本科高等学校大学生医学技术技能大赛一等奖
