Yangdong Ye is a Professor at Zhengzhou University. He received his PhD degree in China Academy of Railway Sciences. He worked one year as a senior visiting scholar in Deakin university. He has wide research interests, mainly including machine learning, pattern recognition, knowledge engineering, intelligent system, among which machine learning and pattern recognition are his core research areas. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed prestigious journals and conference proceedings, such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI), IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP), IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII), IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS), IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems (TSMC), IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics (TCYB), IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), ACM International Conference on Multimedia (MM), AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI).
