一、培养目标
本专业培养学生有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律、德智体美全面发展，能够适应21世纪世界经济全球化需要，系统地掌握财务管理专业基本理论、基本知识及基本操作技能，具有宽广的财务管理专业视角，熟悉国际国内财务管理资本运作的历史和现状，具备基本的财务处理能力，具有良好的外语基础和社会交际能力计算机应用能力，毕业以后能够在工商企业、银行和非银行金融机构、政府机关事业单位及其他相关部门从事财务实务工作的专门人才，也为从事财会教学研究工作的进一步深造打下基础。
二、培养要求
本专业主要学习经济学、管理学、财务管理、金融学等方面的基本理论和基本知识，接受统计学、计量经济学、财务报表分析、管理会计等方面的技巧与方法的基本训练，全面了解管理理论、管理组织、管理方法和管理手段，具备分析和解决企业财务管理问题的基本能力。毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力：
【1】具有财务管理及相关学科的基本理论及基本知识；
【2】掌握财务管理的定量和定性分析方法；
【3】系统地掌握企业的财务管理的方法和思路；
【4】熟悉国内外与财务管理有关的方针、政策、法规和国际惯例；
【5】了解国际和我国财务管理理论前沿及发展趋势；
【6】具有良好的理论研究能力和政策评价技能；
【7】具有良好的英语及计算机应用能力、社会交际能力和专业写作基础；
【8】掌握文献检索、资料查询等信息获取的基本方法，具有一定的科学研究和创新能力。

管理学、经济学
四、主干课程
基础会计学、财务管理原理、中级财务管理、高级财务管理、中级财务会计学、管理会计学、内部控制与风险管理、财务报表分析、资产评估等。
五、学制、修业年限、（分流学期）及授予学位
本专业学制4 年，弹性修业年限3～6年（从第 4 学期专业培养）,符合郑州大学授予学士学位规定,授予管理学学士学位。
六、毕业学分要求
本专业须修满培养方案中规定课程157学分（其中通识课35 学分，基础课62 学分，专业核心课24学分，专业拓展课12学分，综合实践课24学分），方准毕业。
七、主要实践性教学环节
实践性教学环节主要包括: 社会经济调查、沙盘模拟、会计综合实验、毕业论文、毕业实习、军训等。
