The 2nd Workshop on "Evolutionary Computation：Past, Present and Future" was successfully held in the main campus of Zhengzhou University from November 23, 2017 to November 24, 2017.
The Workshop was sponsored by Zhengzhou University, School of Electrical Engineering, IEEE student branch of Zhengzhou University and Computational Intelligence Laboratory. During the meeting, Prof. Ponnuthurai Nagaratnam Suganthan from Nanyang Technology University, Dr Swagatam Das from Indian Statistical Institute, and a number of well-known experts in domestic universities including Prof. Wenyin Gong from China University of Geosciences, Dr Xinye Cai from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Prof. Yinan Guo from China University of Mining and Technology, Dr Guohua Wu from National University of Defense Technology, etc. who came to our school to make a wonderful academic report.
The report was co-chaired by Prof. Jing Liang, associate editor of Journal of Zhengzhou University, Dr Kunjie Yu, Zhengzhou University, Dr Tianlei Ma, Zhengzhou University, Prof. Yinan Guo, China University of Mining and Technology and Dr Shi Cheng, Shaanxi Normal University.
