Guan Shaokang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and vice president of the University, delivered a special lecture on the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee for teachers and students of the business school

In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, comprehensively improve the quality of graduate training and dissertation, and solidly promote the connotative development of graduate education, Guan Shaokang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC University Party committee and vice president, delivered a special publicity Report entitled "studying and implementing the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and comprehensively improving the quality of Graduate Dissertation" to teachers and students of business school on December 23. Nearly a thousand people, including responsible comrades, all tutors and postgraduates of the business school, listened online and offline. The report meeting was presided over by Wang Haijie, executive dean of the business school.

Guan Shaokang said that the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee systematically summarized the glorious course, brilliant achievements and valuable experience of the party, made the Chinese Communists in the new era see clearly why they can succeed in the past and how they can continue to succeed in the future, and explained the deep logic and victory code of "why the Communist Party of China can".   We must further implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and the general plan for deepening the reform of educational evaluation in the new era, reverse the unscientific orientation of educational evaluation, highlight the orientation of quality, accelerate the modernization of education and run universities to the satisfaction of the people; We must focus on the future, plan for the present, adapt to high-quality development, comprehensively deepen the reform of graduate education system, promote the adjustment and upgrading of graduate education system, and create graduate education with more opportunities, better quality, better experience, stronger strength and greater influence.
Guan Shaokang put forward requirements on how to comprehensively improve the quality of graduate thesis: first, graduate training units should strengthen the whole process control, high standards and strict requirements, and control the quality; Second, we should strengthen the consciousness of tutors, compact the responsibility of tutors, and strictly implement the responsibility of the first person responsible for the cultivation of graduate students and the subject of paper quality review; Third, we should strengthen the academic norms of dissertations and establish a breakthrough mechanism for problem papers one by one; Fourth, we should regularly carry out fixed-point learning and education to deeply analyze the root causes of problems; Fifth, we should establish and improve the problem paper review process, strengthen the shutdown system, strengthen the whole process management, move the paper quality monitoring gate forward, strictly control the opening, mid-term inspection, external audit, pre answer and defense, and degree awarding, actively build a comprehensive paper quality assurance system, and continuously improve the quality of Graduate Dissertations.

When presiding over the report meeting, Wang Haijie pointed out that the lecture meeting coincided with the time, which was a spiritual baptism of tutor's thesis guidance and students' cognition of thesis writing, and gave highly targeted opinions and suggestions for the business school to further improve the quality of graduate thesis. The business school will closely combine the study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee with all work, and attach great importance to the quality of thesis, Take the improvement of the quality of Graduate Dissertations as one of the test indicators of the learning and implementation effect, take the road of connotation construction and high-quality development, and contribute to the "double first-class" construction of Zhengzhou University.
