基本信息

郭根维2025年加入郑州大学历史学院和东盟研究中心。他连职的机构包括俄亥俄大学图书馆邵友保博士华侨华人文献研究中心、首尔国立大学亚洲史系（并担任首尔国立大学新成立的亚洲语言与文明系）和南洋理工大学历史系。他的研究和教学范围包括东南亚和世界历史，尤其关注航海史、移民史、商业史、世界文化迁徙与互动、殖民地知识形成与收藏史以及历史与人类学的互动联系。他曾担任新加坡国家文物局、教育部和博物馆的顾问。他目前现任《跨地域华人》 Translocal Chinese（Brill出版社）和科罗拉多大学出版社“全球殖民主义”丛书 Global Colonialism的编委。2019, 他担任了欧洲海洋出版社（Euroseas）最佳人文类图书评审团成员。
