Research Field:
Dr Lirong Zhang focuses on Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics. She recently revealed the mechanism of individual differences in drug response at the molecular and genetic level by using a "pharmacogenomics" principle, which represents the current “hot-spot” in this scientific field internationally. Now she is among the leading scientists exploring the innovative ideas and methods for individualized drug therapy and precision medicine.
Dr Lirong Zhang has published more than 160 research papers (including 50 papers in SCI journals). In addition, she is chief editor or vice-editor of six books and was awarded four provincial prizes. At present Dr Zhang presides over more than 20 research projects including the National and Outstanding Talent Project of Henan Province, etc. Dr Zhang is invited as Journal reviewer of Clinica Chemica Acta, Personalized Medicine, Pharmacogenomics and Tumor Biology, etc.
