Between 24th and 25th August, 2019, the AMS held the 2019 International Symposium of Advances in Cancer Stem Cell Therapeutics at Zhengzhou. Over 30 experts from the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Korea and across China were invited to share their recent work on the origin of tumour stem cells and clonal evolution, the tumor stem cell microenvironment and stem cell therapeutics, etc.

Dean Nick Lemoine chaired the Opening of the Symposium with welcome speeches from Mr. Baomin Liu, Deputy Head of Henan Department of Science and Technology and Mr. Zhenqing Gu, Vice President of Zhengzhou University. An audience of over 300 participants consisting of faculty and students from ZZU attended the symposium and interacted with the guest speakers.
