A Letter to All Students at AMS

I am very sorry that the coronavirus outbreak in China has meant that your study and lives have been affected greatly.Please know that my thoughts and heart are with you and I am hoping for a speedy end to the coronavirus outbreak so that things may return to normal soon.
In the battle,you are not alone to fight as I and all our team at AMS are with you.As you have already been informed, our team has made arrangements for the beginning of the Spring semester whether you are here on campus or staying at home as asked to. I am so glad that you are all doing well and working closely with your supervisors remotely,either on your references or your dissertations to prepare for the viva coming soon. Our team will keep you all posted on the plan for the Spring semester as soon as the university informs us. Our team here will continue to provide as much support as possible to help you going through this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything we could do to help.
Also, you may be happy to know that our research team at AMS are working proactively and closely with experts in the field of coronavirus in the UK to contribute as much as we can in fighting against this outbreak.
At the same time, please stay safe and healthy while working hard.
