ZHENGZHOU, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Xiaofang, 101, is a renowned ophthalmologist at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, central China's Henan Province. He is also the founder of intraocular foreign body research in China and an academic leader in eye injury treatment. Over the past century, Zhang has witnessed as well as participated in the development of China's healthcare. Now, Zhang still sees his patients every Tuesday as long as he is physically able, and he hopes to devote his life to medical education.
