讲座题目：局域火灾下的结构安全研究进展

摘要:

传统的火灾安全设计将建筑物划分为若干防火隔间，并要求防火隔间的边界（如墙、板、柱）具有足够的耐火极限来阻止火灾在不同防火隔间间的传播。现代建筑中经常设有大空间（如中庭、开放式楼层等），其体量超出了传统方法中防火隔间的尺寸要求，需要借助性能化设计方法来进行火灾安全设计。结构在实际火灾下的性能研究是进行性能化设计的基础和前提。

本次报告开篇将简要介绍结构抗火研究的发展历史。随后将讨论局域火灾用于结构安全设计的问题。将重点讨论近期关于局域火灾下热-力性能的模拟研究进展，并简要介绍最新的的试验研究和下一步研究计划。相关研究的主要结论是，因为温度梯度的影响，裸露钢构件在局域火灾下的破坏模式可能完全别于其在标准火灾下的模式；裸露钢构件在局域火灾下的破坏温度可能远低于其在标准火灾下的破坏温度。

 

报告人介绍:

    Dr Chao Zhang is a guest researcher of the National Fire Research Laboratory of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA. His research focuses on simulating the performance of steel structures in fire. He is serving as a member for the ASCE/SEI Technical Committee on Fire Protection and as a reviewer for several internationally recognized journals in the area of structural and fire engineering, including Fire Safety Journal, Fire Technology, Engineering Structures, Journal of Constructional Steel Research and Journal of Structural Engineering -ASCE. He received the NIST EL Distinguished Associate Award in 2015, the Springer Thesis Award in 2015 and the prestigious IAFSS best thesis “Excellent in Research” award by the International Association of Fire Safety Science in 2014.
