研究生创新中心英语俱乐部在研究生院、党委研究生工作部的直接领导下开展工作，旨在为广大研究生提供一个英语学习和交流的平台。自成立以来，俱乐部坚持以服务广大研究生为己任，以国际化为导向，组织策划了研究生英语演讲比赛、研究生英语配音大赛、研究生英语角等系列活动。在之前活动的基础上，俱乐部将继续举行英语角等活动。现将具体主题公布如下：

Topic in March：Festival

The theme of the English Corner activity in March is about festival. Festivals are important days in one's life that are worth remembering. It is a kind of folk culture created by people all over the world to meet the needs of production and life, and it is an important part of the world folk culture.Each ethnic group and region has its own festivals. Some festivals originate from traditional customs, such as Chinese Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Tomb-sweeping Day, Double Ninth Festival and so on. Some festivals have religious origins, such as Christmas in Christian countries. Some festivals, such as Dragon Boat Festival, National Day, Youth Day and so on, originate from the commemoration of a person or an event. Over time, the meaning of the festival and the way to celebrate it is also changing.
